WINNER BANKING ON A BONUS WITH HSBC
Who ever wins this year’s Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials
will not only take home the impressive silver trophy and £60,000
but this year the chance of adding an extra $150,000 (£75,000) to
their prize money.
The Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials is one of the
World’s five four-star events that now encompass the HSBC FEI
Classics. The top ten riders at each of the events will be awarded
points and the riders with the most points at the end of the series
– which will be Les Etoiles de Pau in October – gain the bonus. The
rider with the most will take home $150,000.
“This innovative series provides the first link between all the
greatest three-day events in the world and I have no doubt that it
will mark the start of a major new chapter in the continuing
development of the sport,” said FEI President HRH Princess
Haya.
